Renewable energy sources
Renewable energy is the way of obtaining energy from renewable sources, which, unlike non-renewable sources, are not destroyed during the process of obtaining energy.
Currently it is estimated that in 2020 renewable energy will come from 20% of the produced energy on the globe.
Among the most commonly used energy sources include:
– gravitational energy of water- it is currently the source of 71% of energy from renewable sources,
– wind energy- 15% of the total production of renewable sources of energy,
– biomass and biofuels- 6% of the total,
– solar energy- 4.5%
– geothermal energy- 1.5%.
